2. SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
• THE MAIN SUBJECT OF THIS STUDY IS TO KNOW WHAT ARE THE SIGNIFICANT FACTORS THAT
AFFECT THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THIS STUDENTS BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THE
PANDEMIC. AND WE WILL KNOW THE DIFFERENCES OF FACE-TO-FACE LEARNING TO ONLINE
LEARNING.
• AT SAN ISIDRO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PREFERED FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES BECAUSE THEY
LEARN MORE AND THEY CAN DO THEIR ACTIVITIES WELL
3. BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
• THE PANDEMIC PROBLEM IN SPECIAL AND OTHER CHALLENGES IN GENERAL CAN BE HANDLE WITH THE HELP OF
ONLINE LEARNING. HOWEVER, MANY OTHERS ASSERTED THAT ITS NEW DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION IS ONE IN
WHICH ONLINE LEARNING IS PROBLEMATIC.
• FIRST FOR STUDENTS ONLINE LEARNING TO BE SUCCESSFUL, THE INSTITUTION NEEDS TO OFFER TRAINING
SESSION TO BOOST STUDENTS INITIATIVE, MOTIVATE THEM TO ACTIVELY ENGAGE WITH THE TEACHERS AND
FELLOW STUDENTS, AND ENHANCE THEIR CAPACITY FOR INDEPENDENT STUDY ADDITIONALLY.
4. • COVID-19 HAD A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON STUDENT LEARNING BECAUSE THEY HAD BEEN
UNABLE TO ATTEND LESSONS IN PERSON BECAUSE OF PANDEMIC. THE NEW LEARNING
SYSTEM, MODULAR CLASSES, AND ONLINE CLASSES REQUIRED STUDENTS TO REMAIN AT
HOME.
• ONLINE DELIVERY MODE CAN OFFER EFFICIENT AND CONVENIENT WAYS TO ACHIEVE THE
LEARNING OUTCOMES FOR STUDENTS LEARNING ONLINE (JUNCO ET AL. 2013)
5. RESEARCH QUESTIONS
SPECIFICALLY, THIS STUDY SEEKS TO ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:
1. WHAT ARE THE SIGNIFICANT FACTORS AFFECTING THE ONLINE LEARNING OUTCOMES?

• THE STUDY USED THE DESCRIPTIVE QUANTITATIVE METHOD OF RESEARCH.
• DESCRIPTIVE SAMPLING WILL BE EMPLOYED AS THE METHOD OF SAMPLING FOR THIS STUDY
• THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE STUDY ARE THE STUDENTS WHO ENROLLED IN SAN ISIDRO HIGH
SCHOOL
8. • A TOTAL OF 100 RESPONDENTS WHO ANSWER THE SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRES
• INCLUSION AND EXCLUSION CRITERIA IN JUNIOR AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
9. THE FOLLOWING ARE THE PROCEDURES THAT WILL BE UNDERTAKEN DURING THE DATA
CONNECTION

10. 3.3.4 THE RESEARCHER HAVE GIVEN A FEW DAYS TO CONDUCT THEIR SURVEY AMONG THE
STUDENTS OF SAN ISIDRO HIGH SCHOOL.
• THE DATA GATHERED FROM THE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE TAILED AND TABULATED IN ORDER OF
THE SUB PROBLEMS.
