Scenario of the educational situation within the project Erasmus+
TRAVEL AGENCY â TUÅAWKI TRAVEL
ASSUMPTIONS
Educational situation is an interdisciplinary and interclass action. The essence of the
idea is that the tasks are carried out by the groups of students in which there are
students from different classes, with different experience and skills.
The tasks performed by each group include knowledge and skills in eleven subjects
(Polish, English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, geography, biology, history, civics,
IT, art and PE).
Each group completes 11 tasks during 4 school days. No other classes are held
during this time. The group has 90 minutes to complete one task. The tasks are
performed on the basis of instructions prepared by the subject teachers.
The combination of the travel agency formula with the content of the above-
mentioned subjects enables not only comprehensive familiarization with the partner
countries (Spain, Turkey, Greece), but also planning a visit to these countries based
on the knowledge gained during the tasks.
The situation takes place from the 17th to the 21st of January, 2021 according to the
schedule attached as Appendix 1 to this scenario. Students are not involved in the
preparations and the educational situation is a surprise to them.

when students arrive to school, they can feel that something different than
usual is happening; they can watch films on the multimedia board and
view brochures about the partner countries.
2. Proper part
īˇ after all students arrive at school, a brief assembly is held in the hallway at
8:00 a.m. The students learn why the school looks different and they get
acquainted with the lists of passengers going to the partner countries and
with the timetable of their journey. Passenger lists and travel schedule are
placed on the information board of the travel agency.
īˇ once students have gathered into groups, they receive the instructions
necessary to complete each task and under the teacher's supervision they
go to the indicated workshops. Teachers are not directly involved in the
work of the teams. They provide help, advice, good atmosphere and all
necessary aids and educational materials;
īˇ work by instructions is based on assigned roles, so each group chooses:
īˇ a leader who stays in contact with the teacher, coordinates activities
and monitors task completion time;
īˇ bibliographers collecting and developing the material;
īˇ an editor (visual artist) who develops material from a graphic, visual
perspective;
īˇ a presenter whose job is to summarize and present the results of
the group's work;
īˇ tasks are performed according to the following steps:
īˇ collecting materials;
īˇ selection of information;
īˇ carrying out the task according to the instructions on the basis of
the collected materials;
īˇ editing and graphic design;
īˇ preparing the presentation;
īˇ the completed works are displayed in visible places in the school space,
becoming a decorative element of the travel office. The way they are
presented depends on the chosen form of presentation.
3. Final part
īˇ after completing all the tasks, students and teachers gather in the travel
office, the decoration of which at that time is enriched by the works made
by students;
īˇ the presenters appointed by the group members summarize and make
presentations of their works;
īˇ the school principal makes a summary of the entire task.
