Origin of TOP500 SCL
马寅初 (1882—1982) ，回族，
浙江嵊县人。中国当代经济学
家、教育家、人口学家。1906年
赴美国留学, 先后获得耶鲁大学
经济学硕士学位和哥伦比亚大学
经济学博士学位。1915年回
国, 先后在北洋政府财政部当职
员、在北京大学担任经济学教
授。1919年任北大第一任教务
长。 1920年，出任国立东南大
学附设上海商科大学（现上海财
经大学）教授兼教务主任。
