These transfer students will not go through First Year Seminar or introductory English courses where library instruction is embedded.
  10. 10. Tie in to Goals ● What do you want to work on? ● Be SMART - specific, measurable, achievable, results-focused, and time- bound.
  11. 11. EXAMPLE Over the next two semesters, I would like to increase the number of instruction sessions taught in Psychology by 20% and/or increase the number of course sites who have a direct link to the LibGuide by 30%.
  12. 12. Build an Engagement Plan ● Collaborative elements ● Consider preparation When do? ● Consider timing When due?
  13. 13. EXAMPLE Establish baseline numbers of instruction sessions, embedded LibGuides and LibGuide hits. What to do? Contact faculty who teach classes with research components. Discuss with Department Chair, create new LibGuide content, etc.
  14. 14. Set Deadlines ● Plan content ahead ● Workload adjustments ● Partner with other liaisons
