The CCR program is intended to kick
start EV charging infrastructure in
rural and disadvantaged communities
across Oregon.
The goal is to increase EV
infrastructure, while mutually
benefiting local communities with
increased visitors.
While customers are charging, they
often have time to site see and shop!
3. ODOT’s Community Charging Rebates (CCR) program
Targets EV charging in communities throughout Oregon
Aims to reduce the installation, maintenance, and purchasing costs of Level 2 EV charging
stations at strategic locations, particularly multi-family housing and public parking sites.
Timeline
Funding released in rounds. Round 1 closed on October 6th, 2023.
Investments reimbursed through rebates
$4,250 - $5,500 per port, up to 75% of eligible costs.
Centers equity
70% of funds reserved for projects in disadvantaged and rural communities. Companion
outreach and education program will focus efforts in these priority communities. Rebates
will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

7. Eligible Applicants
To apply for a rebate under the Program,
eligible applicants must:
1. Be a business, non-profit organization, or
state, local or Tribal government entity.
a. Businesses and nonprofits must be
licensed to do business in Oregon
1. Be the Site Owner of an eligible location or
their Authorized Agent with a site

∙ EV charging equipment installation costs, including
labor and materials
∙ Planning and engineering design costs
∙ Electric service upgrades, including stub outs,
transformer, electric panels, utility service order
∙ Project signage
∙ Site lighting
∙ ADA compliance (curb cuts, path of travel, striping,
etc)
∙ Network agreement with network provider (up to 3
years, if paid in advance)
∙ Maintenance contract, including a parts warranty
and service level agreement (up to 5 years, if paid
in advance)
