The Community Charging Rebates (CCR) program from ODOT aims to increase electric vehicle charging infrastructure in rural and disadvantaged communities across Oregon. The first round of funding will be released in June 2023, with rebates of $4,250-$5,500 per charging port available to offset up to 75% of eligible project costs. Priority will be given to projects in disadvantaged communities. An interactive map will help applicants identify location eligibility. Eligible applicants include businesses, nonprofits, and governments who own eligible locations like publicly accessible parking lots and multi-family housing. The application process involves submitting documentation before and after installation.
