2. I have used inspiration from Q for my magazine, the
Media Institution that distributes Q is Bauer Media.
Bauer Media Group entered the UK with the launch of
Bella magazine in 1987. It soon became Britain’s third
largest publisher.
In the UK there are two divisions of the Bauer Media
Group, the original UK business trades as H Bauer
Publishing under CEO David Goodchild. And its sister
company is known as Bauer Media (Bauer Consumer
Media Ltd) CEO Paul Keenan.
They produce mainstream large circulation magazines
such as Q and Kerrang!

3. Target Audience
The highest percentage of people who
buy Q magazine (distributed by Bauer
Media Group) are in the age range of
15-24. This therefore means that
Bauer would be likely to distribute my
magazine as my target audience is
within this age range too.
Other Music and Entertainment magazines that are also distributed by Bauer
Media Group such as ‘Kerrang!’, ‘Empire’ and ‘Mojo’ show that the 15-24 age
range is the most popular age range – on average – with these magazines.
