2. Mary used a variety of different sites for her
blog posts such as prezi, Issuu and also
PowerPoint. The use of different technology
shows the examiner a better understanding of
the work she has created and portrays the
extent that she has gone to in displaying her
work. This presents her blog in a more
sophisticated and effective way as she is not
using the same types of technology repeatedly,
by constantly using different sites and software
it presents her entire blog as a lot more
interesting and exciting towards the examiner.
The work is presented neatly on the blog and
Mary has also made effort to make her blog look
attractive by using colour and images instead of
restricting her work to writing.
3. Mary has also included videos and
audio in her blog when showing blog
posts of planning and research which
again show a broad use of technology
and show the examiner that she has a
larger range of skills. It helps to
explain posts in a lot more depth and
detail. I also noticed that underneath
each blog post Mary included a short
written description of what is
included in that specific post. This
further helps the examiner to
understand what Mary is talking
about in each post and adds a lot
more detail to her blog. It shows how
she worked hard and put a lot of effort
in to her blog.
4. Mary included regular updates on her
blog where she weekly described the
progress she had made and what she
had added to both her blog and final
product. This shows the examiner that
her blog was consistent. Although she
only included these blogs in a written
format on word they are still very
important as they explain the break
down of all of the stages she went
through in to the weeks leading up to
finishing her final product. It gives the
examiner a lot of in depth information
about the process that she went
through.
5. Mary used labels to make it easy for
the examiner to find exactly what
they were looking for when accessing
her blog. For example if they wanted
to find a specific section of the
coursework they could use the labels
to find it. This makes her blog look
organised and well lay out. All of the
work has been placed on to a plain
coloured background making her blog
look professional and does not take
the attention away from the work.
From the labels I can tell that Mary
uploaded on a regular basis as the
numbers next to each label are high.
This is important because she kept
up to date and posted a new post
every time there was progess made.
This also proves to the examiner that
she put a lot of effort in to updating
her blog ensuring there was plenty of
work on it.
