2. Penelope’s Look
• Penelope’s outfit is inspired to show her youth and
innocence. The black jeans and cropped floral top show she
is in her late teens and is dressing smartly for school (as she
gets attacked on her way home)
• The chelsea boots will be in a lot of the footage and they
will be warn to show that she perhaps walks home a lot and
shouldn’t have to deal with these sort of attacks.
3. The Attacker’s Look
• We want the attacker to look like a business man by
day, to give the audience the message that an
attacker may in fact be good looking and charming,
yet you shouldn’t trust anybody.
• We want shots of the attacker loosening up his tie
and un-buttoning his shirt and removing his belt
etc. to show he is letting loose into his real
personality.
• We want to show that anybody could have these
desires, no matter what they look like.
4. The 17-18 Year old Look
• All of the girls will be in smart wear, if that is a dress
of some sort with a blazer or a type of trouser and a
jacket. These girls will all have brown hair and pale
skin, their outfit will determine their innocence and
importance in their study, which ultimately has been
effected due to The Penelope Case.
• Only the top of the girls shoulders will be shown, but
they will all be dressed in smart wear with similar long
to mid length brown hair. The type of look we are
aiming for is on the next slide.
6. The Boyfriend’s Look
• Edward doesn’t necessarily have a reason for his look,
other than we want him to look as laid back as possible
to show how natural and casual the area where they live
is.
• Edward takes things more casually, which links to his
character as the laid back boyfriend in the storyline.
• Edward needs to look smart as well as casual, showing
that he has loosened up after their day at school.
7. The Props
• We are using a car as a prop, to show the attacker
lurking into the school. The car will be shown
from an inside perspective of the people and an
outside perspective of the car moving.
• A school bag and folder will be used to show
Penelope’s innocence and youth
• An iPhone will be used in some shots too, as well
as the noises from the phone whilst it is ringing.
• Twigs and other different nature props will be
used for special effect, there will be close ups of
these.
