Auditions
Documentary
By Abbie, Ellen and
Charlotte
Erin Warren
Auditioned for Penelope Granger
Erin auditioned for Penelope Granger as we thought
the main focus of the documentary needed to look
innocent and honest. I felt that Erin embodies this
ideology perfectly.
Her hair is long and brown
medium length which is the
hair colour and length I wanted
for the character
Erin has a blue eyes that make
her look of a younger age than
she is and add to the innocent
persona
Her skin is pale like the rest of
the attackers victims thus she
fits perfectly for the part of
Penelope
Niamh Byford
Auditioned for Penelope Granger
Unlike Erin when Niamh auditioned for Penelope
Granger. She did not come across as innocent and on
camera she was less compatible on screen dissimilar
to Erin
She as long brown hair which
we were looking for within the
main characters appearance
Niamh has green eyes and
glasses, the glasses make
her be seen as older rather
than a student at a sixth form
or college
Finally her skin is pale which
is really important to the
character features
Luke McNulty
Auditioned for News Reporter
Luke auditioned for the part of News Reporter. From the
moment the audition started he responded to the
camera very naturally and had a natural charisma which
was fantastic.
Luke is smartly dressed with
a tone of voice like a news
reporter further more he
really got involved in the
audition by acting out the role
He has brown hair and the
acting ability to be an
excellent news reporter
Jordan Leith
Auditioned for News Reporter
Jordan like Luke was excellent in front of the camera
which is really important when playing the part of a
news reporter, they both got in to character and
showed their acting ability.
He is dressed well and looks
like a news reporter on TV,
throughout his audition he
was relaxed in front of the
camera and realistic
Jordan would make an
excellent news reporter as he
is from a different ethnic
background making him more
appealing to a wide range of
people
Ciaran Craven
Auditioned for Edward Jones
Ciaran was an excellent choice for Edward Jones who
is Penelope Grangers boyfriend in the documentary.
The reason Ciaran got the part is due to Erin and his
natural chemistry.
He looks older than Erin
which is important for the
documentary as he is
travelling to work when he
drops off Penelope before
she gets attacked
His ability to change emotion
was shown in the audition
Ciarans chemistry with Erin
on camera is exactly what is
needed for this documentary
Jack O’Regan
Auditioned for Attacker
Jack when auditioning for the role of the attacker has a
persona on screen that causes tension, thus I thought
he would be right for this role
Jack has piercing blue eyes
that are really prominent on
screen and on the camera
this increase the amount of
tension causes in scenes
with his involvement
His clothes would be
changed for the documentary
but in close up on his face he
has good facial structure and
also a strong jaw line which is
related to criminals
Alick Manning
Auditioned for Attacker
Alick like Jack has an on screen persona that has an
air of spookiness and tension too it, this with Alick is
coupled with a scar on his lip.
Alick has a scar on his lip
which helps encourage the
audience of the idea he is a
criminal because scars are
normally associated with
criminal activity
He has naturally red eyes
which reenforce the persona
as his eyes tired and worn
out
Alick also his half smiling in
this photo thus making him
look happy about the attacks
