E&P Executive Director, NIS Petrol S.R.L. In charge of establishing, building and directing a new E&P affiliate in
Romania. Established a new office in western Romania and built a technical, commercial and administrative staff
for management of a portfolio of exploration and production assets. During first year in position, secured
participation interests in 7 large exploration blocks with East West Petroleum and MOL Hungary and farmed in
to a development project with Zeta Petroleum. Budget levels up to Euros 40 million per year.
Manager of Romania Project, NIS-Gazpromneft Reporting to the General Director of NIS Gazpromneft, developed
business plans and identified possible assets in Romania for acquisition. In conjunction with Business Development,
successfully identified and secured an interest in a number of exploration and production assets.
Director of NIS - Gazpromneft, Luanda, Angola Responsible for Company's investment in non-operated assets
offshore Angola. Provided technical and financial input into joint venture as a non-operator representative, advising
senior NIS management of project plans, budget and operational activities. Participated in Operating Committee,
Technical Committee and Finance Committee for offshore Blocks 3-05A, 3-05A, 3-85 and 3-91. Budget levels to
$50 million
E&P Deputy Executive Director and E&P Overseas Director, NIS-Gazpromneft. Formulated business plans and
strategies, led technical/commercial teams to identify and capture assets in the Balkan Region, West and North
Africa. Budget levels to $120 million. The company’s strategy was focused on the Balkan region and the expansion
of the exploration and production area from Serbia to the neighboring countries. In less than two years following assets
have been acquired: (1) Romania – Five exploration licenses and one producing license in western part, Pannonian
basin; (2) Hungary – Three exploration licenses; (3) Bosnia and Hercegovina – Exploration license on whole territory of
Republic Serbs. All licenses are active and Work programs are going on.

to acquire conventional assets in Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. Prepared and delivered over 50 assets analyses

the South-Eastern part of Pannonian basin. Project was recommended to the World Bank for funding and
accepted. Reporting directly to World Bank experts, led multi-disciplinary team with over 20 specialists,
acquiring over 500 km Hi-resolution 2D seismic program and over 6.000 km 2D was reprocessed and
interpreted. Over 25 seismic sequences were mapped and 10 proposals for exploration drilling prepared.
Technical Roles Planned and supervised 2D/3D seismic acquisition and processing, Interpretation 2D&3D seismic
data (structural and seismic-stratigraphy), Depth imaging processing (DMBS in ADS Com.), Proposing 40 well cats
(POS -33%) and over 20 appraisal wells (POS 95%). Worked resulted in a number of commercial discoveries.
