Senior Geologist, Jaime Eiras has 40 years of
international E&P experience with Petrobras, Oil M&S
Brasil S.A., HRT Oil & Gas, Petra Energia S.A., GasEletro
Energia Integrada S.A. and most recently as senior
geologist for GasOil Consulting & Services. As petroleum
geologist, Jaime Eiras has participated in teams
responsible for significant discoveries in Brazil, specially
in the Solimões basin. He held a number of senior
management roles globally with International Petra in
Africa, Middle East and India. He has written more than
40 papers on Tectonics, Sedimentation, Stratigraphy,
Sequence Stratigraphy, Petroleum Systems,
Geochemistry, and Seismic Interpretation. Currently, he
is with GasOil Consulting & Services, a group specialized
in analyzing assets and identify new opportunities.
Senior Geophysicist, Charles Lima has over 10 years of
wealth of experience and track record in international
E&P. Explorationist by training, he is specialized in
Geology and Geophysics of Petroleum Exploration. He
has served as technical advisor of several projects in the
Solimões, Amazonas, Parnaíba, Paraná and São Francisco
basins in Brazil. Charles acted as International Technical
Director and Explorationist for Petra Energia when in
charge of G&G studies of Paleozoic “hot shale” plays and
rift basins in North Africa and Asia. Also, he was very
experienced in international data rooms and asset
negotiations with NOC’s and IOC’s in Asia, Africa, and
Middle East. Currently, he is with GasOil Consulting &
Services, a conglomerate of top consultants specialized
on finding oil & gas anywhere.
Senior Geophysicist, Henrique Dal Pozzo is a
geophysicist focused on Potential Methods,
Magnetotelluric and Seismic data integration in oil and
gas exploration, performing survey design, data
processing, modeling and interpretation. He worked for
10 years as the chief geophysicist in AeroGeophysica
Latinoamertica with airborne gravity, gravity
gradiometry and magnetic surveys in Brazilian onshore
basins: Parnaiba, Paraná, Amazonas, Marajó, São
Francisco, Acre and Potiguar. He joined Petra Energia
S.A. in 2012, where he was in charge of Potential
Methods and Magnetotelluric data processing and
modeling and the integration to seismic interpretation in
African basins. Currently he is with GasOil Consulting &
Services, involved in geophysical data processing,
modeling and interpretation.
Senior Geologist, Joaquim Wanderley Fo has 35 years of
E&P experience with Petrobras, where he worked as a
wellsite geologist and basin interpreter in onshore
and offshore areas located in the Amazon and
Equatorial/Eastern Atlantic Margins of Brazil. He
was a member of the Exploration team responsible
for the discovery of Igarapé Chibata oil, gas and
condensate field, Solimões basin. He attended a
training course on Petromod basin modeling
software in Aachen, Germany. He participated in 2D
and 3D modeling of Solimões, Amazonas and
Parnaíba basins using the IES (now Schlumberger)
Petromod software. He has published some 30
technical papers on G&G. Currently, he is with
GasOil Consulting & Services.
