This document summarizes the results of a questionnaire given to a target audience for a TV news program. Key findings include:
- The audience is interested in dramatic headlines like cannibalism stories.
- The majority of the audience is female, so stories need to appeal to women. However, content should not target just one gender.
- Most of the audience is 16-24 years old, so a variety of soft and hard news stories appealing to younger people are needed.
- Many see themselves as "reformers" seeking enlightenment and personal growth, so stories on such topics may engage them.
- Most identify as students, so stories of interest to younger people are important.
