2. Stairwell and Corridor

Dangers/ hazards and risks:
- If the stairs are slippery due to weather, my actors may slip over on the steps and hurt themselves.
- When the actors use the stairs, there may be other people walking the other way, therefore, people may be in the
way and there is a risk of tripping over.
- If the actors are walking up the stairs together and talking, they may not be looking where they are going, they
may slip over.
4. Lockers and Corridor

Dangers/ hazards and risks:
- If the floor is wet due to weather, actors may slip over.
- When the actors are by the lockers, other people may be using their own lockers, the locker doors
may hit the actors, if people are unaware that they are there.
6. Outside toilets

Dangers/ hazards and risks:
- When the actors walk into the toilet, another person may be walking out, therefore causing collision.
- If the lights are turned off in the toilet, when they enter, they may not be able to see where they are
going and fall or trip.
7. Entrance to Sixth Form

Dangers/ hazards and risks:
- The floor may be wet due to people walking from outside to inside, therefore actors may slip.
- The automatic doors may close on the actors when are walking through.
- At reception, it may get very busy, causing actors and people to trip up.
- Actors may be unaware of stairs and trip up.
8. Outside the Sixth From Block

Dangers/ hazards and risks:
- If it is cold, wet or frosty, the ground may be unsuitable to walk on and actors may slip over.
- If filming is done during busy times, people walking the other way may collide with the actors.
10. Corridor

Dangers/ hazards and risks:
- When actors walk through the doors, if they are not held open, it may close and hit someone in the
face.
- The floor can be slippery when wet and cause actors to fall.
11. Classroom

Dangers/ hazards and risks:
- If chairs and tables are placed inappropriately around the room, actors may hit into them and trip
over chair and table legs.
- When actors enter the room they need to be aware of the bins that are closed to the door because
they may trip over them.
12. Bathroom (Home)

Dangers/ hazards and risks:
- If the floor is wet, actors and crew may slip
- If water is near camera or other electrical equipment it may cause damage
- Actors may burn themselves if hot tap or radiator is turned on.
13. Bedroom (Home)

Dangers/ hazards and risks:
- If the radiator is on it may burn cast or crew, and damage electrical equipment it
place on top of the radiator.
- The window opens from the bottom, actors and crew need to be careful when
opening it, in case anything falls out and gets damaged.
