Creating a Standard Financial Model During the delivery phase of any govt. project, IT partner are under huge pressure to avoid any revenue leakage. This is a huge challenge in maintaining a smooth Project Delivery.Volatility of Person with Vision of the Project IT transition comes out from a deep drill through vision statement. This is usually driven by the top management. This creates a lot of dependency on them to drive the entire initiative for smooth working. Unfortunately many a times these people have a certain amount of volatility due to reasons out of our control. As an IT partner we are in constant need for people with similar driving force and vision of the project till the end.Internal Interest Groups creating hindrance to the Progress Sometimes a certain (group of) people may succumb to the decision from top for Technology inclusion but do not provide enough co-operation during transition. As service providers we needs to identify such work groups and work in coherence for their inclusion and avoid hindrances.
Social Computing The people representative have always tried to reach out to mass through various contact points. The new generation which has already moved on to Web 2.0 needs to be catered through an Internet Layer. Several leaders like for Eg. Hon. CM of State of Bihar Mr. Nitish Kumar have been highly successful in connecting with citizens through his blog at http://nitishspeaks.blogspot.com . Increased PPP engagement based on OpEx Model This relates to the major Financial Challenge discussed on the previous slide about “Financial Model”. There will be better partnership which talks about minimizing Revenue Leakages and providing sustainable Business Profits. Eg: Toll Bridge Creation with a Free way alternative road.Globalisation of Public Service -Globalisation is affecting all countries’ public sectors. Regional cross-border seamless services are increasingly apparent. This extra pressure for international collaboration and co-operation leads to increased global integration. International collaboration is already underway in the European Union, and continues to increase, making both shared e-government services such as cross-border electronic identification systems and health care a real possibility.
