How to handle worries and the cost of worrying? I was thinking about this art, phenomenal, activity and I decide to write about it, due to the fact that, it has robbed me a lot in the past and I have come to understand it, how to handle it and put it under control. I see people, love ones and relative suffer and live with worries they can really do anything about or will fade after a while and it rob them off happiness, quality life and productivity.
2. How to handle worries and the cost of worrying? I was thinking about this art, phenomenal, activity and I
decide to write about it, due to the fact that, it has robbed me a lot in the past and I have come to
understand it, how to handle it and put it under control. I see people, love ones and relative suffer and live
with worries they can really do anything about or will fade after a while and it rob them off happiness,
quality life and productivity.
First, let’s look at what is worry? But before that, let me mention some of the things people worry about.
Have you ever found yourself using any of this phrase?
How do I get money?
How do I get a house?
What am I going to eat?
How do I become healthy?
How do i? How can I? where do I?
All of the where, how, what are time robbers. And a handful of persons will say, it is normal. I must worry
about it, else how do i? It comes again and again.
3. What is worry?
Dictionary will describe it this way; “feel or cause to feel anxious or troubled about actual or potential
problems.” Or “the state of being anxious and troubled over actual or potential problems.”
It seems, it is part of human nature, it is part of human nature, it has its positive and negative impact on he that
worries. The positive or creative aspect of it, is that it forces us to become creative , curios and open to new
possibilities and the negative aspect, it keeps us trap when we can’t find solutions to that which we worry about and it
can become so severe that we feel stuck and the time we feel stuck, keep us trap from doing anything useful and
hence we lost control or account of time or opportunities we can’t get back.

Physical effects of worry.
Worrying is feeling uneasy or being overly concerned about a situation or problem. With excessive worrying, your mind and body
go into overdrive as you constantly focus on “what might happen.”
In the midst of excessive worrying, you may suffer with high anxiety — even panic — during waking hours. Many chronic worriers
tell of feeling a sense of impending doom or unrealistic fears that only increase their worries. Ultra-sensitive to their environment
and to the criticism of others, excessive worriers may see anything — and anyone — as a potential threat.
Chronic worrying can affect your daily life so much that it may interfere with your appetite, lifestyle habits, relationships, sleep,
and job performance. Many people who worry excessively are so anxiety-ridden that they seek relief in harmful lifestyle habits
such as overeating, cigarette smoking, or using alcohol and drugs.

4. Why worry does more harm than good
Unfortunately, worry can morph from that healthy, practical form of concern and vigilance to a preoccupation with
perceived threats that are incredibly unlikely or not particularly threatening. These worries can cause you to obsess
so much on these low-probability, low-consequence occurrences that they interfere with your worrying about high-
probability, high consequence concerns and prevent you from enjoying your life. And it is these worries that
metaphorically strangle you. So, basically, worrying has been making us miserable. Yet it has also, paradoxically,
ensured our survival.
Unhealthy worry—when it goes beyond concern and reasonable motivation to protect yourself and makes you
miserable—is a complex emotion that isn’t easy to wrap your arms around. It involves negative and obsessive
thinking, doubt, physical anxiety, and fear. This type of worry is actually a symptom of other problems that becomes
a problem in itself.
Unhealthy worry comes from the emotional baggage you acquired as a child and a deep, often unconscious belief
that you won’t be able to protect yourself:
Insecurity …The world is terrible or my partner will break up with me
Perfectionism …I don’t want to be a failure, I might make mistakes
Need for control …I must know, I have to be in charge
Social comparison … what will they say or think about me?
Low tolerance for stress … How ..where.. when.. what?

5. Best approach to worry
It is inevitable. Worry is a natural part of the human condition. It has historically played a vital role in our survival and it helps us
cope with many of the challenges we face today. At the same time, worry that is too intense, too frequent, and too unrelenting
can definitely cut down on your happiness and enjoyment of life.
If you find yourself worrying over anything, anyone, remember, first it all starts in your thought and perception. Do not ever
forget that. That is the starting point. Evaluate the situation but don’t stay on it too long. There is no problem that is new. It might
be new to you but it is not new. Relax and and give it a calm approach. It might be difficult initially as you have been program in a
contradicting way all of your life, but start practicing it and with time, you will see the amazing results.
Conclusion
Let me show you some of my approach to these situations.
How do I get money?
I know and remind myself, there are few ways to get money. You can work to earn it, you can invest to earn more, you trade to
earn it; sell something or you can render a service to earn it. And if it is an emergency, which is not a good life to live, you can
borrow to get it. I go through this option daily and it makes me not to find myself in emergency. Pick which of the solution that
will work for you and do it. If one doesn’t work, try another. Put yourself in a good mood, that is essential and believe, you had
money in the past and you can get it again.
How do I get a house?
Now I have more than one apartment but back then, I knew, it was impossible to sleep on the street and it is so, because I know
quite a few person that will accommodate me, the only obstacle would be pride. But why worry when I can seek help that I will
get and then plan on how to get one, which still goes with the first worry, how do I get money?
6. What am I going to eat?
The world is filled with abundance, though there is poverty. Thinking does not feel the stomach but taking action is
what fill the stomach. I use the same routine as how to get money to solve it.
How do I become healthy?
Money cannot buy health on some circumstances, but good lifestyle and healthy mind can create good health.
Worry can ruin your health. I am privileged to be healthy, I haven’t visited a doctor for more than 20 years over any
sickness, though headache and back pain now and then, but anyone can do this. The trick is knowing, our thought
and believe has a big influence on our health. Keep your thought healthy and you will enjoy good health.
Those not knowledgeable about this, should maintain healthy lifestyle, eat well and engage on regular exercise.
Worrying over your health will make you unhealthy. Remember, we become what we think about and where the
thought goes, energy flow, and it happens even with sickness.
To be worrying is obviously not a pleasant emotion, but it is actually an essential, normal, and instinctive emotion
that has been hard-wired into humans to help us survive since we rose out of the primordial muck. We worry about
something because we perceive it as a threat to our existence and worry causes us to focus on it and protect
ourselves from that threat.
Back in the prehistoric days, carefree cave people, though probably a very fun bunch, were killed by hostile tribes or
eaten by wild animals because they didn’t worry about or focus on the potential threats. Cave people who worried,
though probably not the life of the party, survived these threats and passed their genes on to future generations. So,
worry has been keeping us alive as a species since the dawn of humankind. But make it a creative art.
7. I am trying to communicate to you, that all your problems and all the problems you
will ever have fall into two phase and they are those you can solve and those you
cant solve. For the first, don’t linger action, be positive, decide and act. For the
later, pray if you don’t know what to do and if you can’t pray, trick yourself, things
will turn out right and even if it does not, there was nothing you could have done
but it becomes a win win if it turns out well.
I know it’s not easy, to transform your believe overnight and change it but, I want
you to know you can and that is so, because, it starts with your thought and
perception and that you, I and everyone have control over.
I hope this blog has been helpful in some ways. Please leave a comment and share
your opinion. I will love to know what and how you handle worries and some other
readers will want to know also. Stay Happy.
