EaLLa Torres created her own "Ten Commandments" for being a good student. The first five commandments instruct students to respect teachers by not fighting, lying, making noise, sleeping in class, or coming unprepared. The next four commandments promote honesty in submitting assignments on time, reviewing for exams, and not copying others' work. The final commandment aims for academic success by committing to a grade of at least 75.

2. 1. Thou shall not fight against the
teachers.
2. Thou shall not tell lies to teachers.
3. Thou shall not be noisy when teacher
is teaching.
4. Thou shall not sleep during class
discussion.
5. Thou shall not come to school
unprepared.
6. Thou shall not be late in submitting
projects and assignments.
7. Thou shall not be lazy in reviewing
lessons before exams.
8. Thou shall not covet your seatmate’s
answer during exams.
9. Thou shall not copy thy classmate’s
homework.
10. Thou shall not commit a grade lower
than 75.

3. The first three commandments I designed pertain to
being respectful to teachers. It is important that we
treat our teachers with due respect because they are
doing their best to teach us.
The 4th
and 5th
commandments tell something about the
attitude inside the classroom. We should want to
achieve our dreams in school by way of being ready in
doing school work.
The 6th

, 8th
and 9th
commandments tell about honesty.
It is best to be honest in all that we do so that people
will remember us as a person with dignity to oneself.
The last commandment tells us about being successful,
never wanting to get a failing mark but a passing mark.
