The president Bashar Al-Assad issued on Thursday law No.18 for the
year 2013 amending the Law No. 29 for the year 2012 on the penalties
imposed on the persons who practice the currency exchange profession
without a license, and those who move or transfer foreign or local
currencies between Syria and abroad without a license.
The speech of the president Bashar Al-Assad to Al-thawra Newspaper is
comprehensive and touched the feelings and the minds of the people
The Scholars, imams, directors of religious schools and Sharia institutes
in Syria affirmed that President Bashar al-Assad's speech to al-thawra
daily was comprehensive, true and honest which touched the feelings
and minds of Syrian citizens.
The Foreign Ministry: The United States and its Allies used to

An official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said that ''the
US and its allies complicit in conspiring against Syria and shedding the

2. Alzoubi : What Happen in Syria in the past couple of years is an

Information Minister, Omran al-Zoubi said that what happened in Syria
in the past couple of years was an attempt by the forces of political
Islam to use the armed terrorist groups in Syria to bring about a
profound change in the national project and the structure of the Syrian
state.
Al-Zoubi said that the steadfastness of the Syrian people, army and
leadership is ''record-breaking, especially that Syria is facing a global
war led by the US and carried out by mercenary terrorists who entered
Syria in big numbers and with big amounts of weapons with Gulf
funding.''
He saw that what happened in Egypt yesterday ''marks the beginning of
transformation and the fall of the religious movements' and political
Islam's capacity to run the state,'' adding that the Egyptian people
