Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Waleed Al-Muallem said that Syria
believed since the beginning of the crisis that the dialogue between all parts of the
Syrian People is the solution for this crisis, and no one or power is able to decide
Syria future in behalf of the Syrian People.
Al-Muallem added in a press conference with his Iraqi counterpart HoshyarZebari in
the Iraqi capital Baghdad that he informed the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki
and Foreign Minister Zebari of "Syria's decision on agreeing in principle to participate
with an official delegation in the international conference," noting that he "felt relief
on their part about the Syrian decision."

problem in Syria, saying "It is essential to adopt political solutions that are to be
agreed upon first and foremost by the Syrians themselves without dictations or

Reelecting Allahhamspeaker of the Assembly
People's Assembly reelected Mohammad Jihad al-Laham speaker of the Assembly
during a regular session on Sunday.
Dr. Fahmi Hassan was reelected Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Khaled al-
Abboud and Abdul-Mo'tiMashlab as secretaries and Rami al-Saleh and
EskandarJaradeh as supervisors.
In a statement to journalists following his reelection, al-Laham said that ''the
reelection ceremony happened by active participation of the majority of members,
according to the Assembly's statute.''
He considered that the reelection adds to the Assembly's performance and is a new
opportunity for exerting efforts to get Syria out of the crisis.
China the international community has to play active role in the peaceful
solution of the Syrian crisis
China's Prime Minister, Li Keqiang, said that Beijing is open to any peaceful
solution reached by the Syrian sides.
In a press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel held in Berlin on
Sunday, Keqiang said that the whole international community should play an
active and constructive role in solving the crisis in Syria.

4. Chairman of the Iranian Shura Council Ali Larijani reiterated his country confirm
that dialogue is the best way to resolve the crisis in Syria.Larijani said in a

The Syrian students and community with the participation of Arab communities
and French citizens in France staged a sit-in in front of the Qatari embassy in Paris
to denounce Qatar's role in the conspiracy against Syria.
The participants denounced al-Jazeera channel's role in supporting the gunmen
