(4:00) Intros and welcome - setting the scene: focus on how we’re managing as
schools and as leaders during this time of Omicron and COVID
Breakout groups: Ask people to name the biggest challenge they’re facing as they
cope with the impact of Omicron and COVID in their contexts. Record on notes on a
Jam board (or similar?)
Whole group: Explanation of how the framework may provide them with a way of
approaching and addressing some of these challenges, focus on the ‘bigger’ idea of
hybrid learning as a transformation of education, not simply another delivery
channel. Include here story of success from Ōtaki College.
Breakout groups - identify specific actions or areas of activity that members can
work on back in their own context. What ideas or inspiration have they drawn from
the framework explanation and illustrations
Wrap-up - summary feedback from groups and final comments from Derek
