Hello,
English is the only language that is being used in my profession. As to my background, I have joined
as a Lecturer in Commerce by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha, India on
December 8, 1977 and having 33+ years experience of teaching, research and administration in
various field of Commerce and Management of reputed government colleges of Odisha state, India. I
was Reader/Associate Professor (Professorship was already due as per UGC) in Commerce in B.J.B.
(A) College, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. I was awarded Ph.D. in Commerce on June 3,
1992 and D.Litt. in Business Administration on November 16, 2007 by Utkal University, Odisha, India.
As on November 16, 2007, I’m the first academician from the Department of Higher Education of
Government of Odisha, India to be awarded D.Litt. in Business Administration and on January 2006,
I’m the first academician from Asia (Based on using search websites) to write a book on management
thought, thinkers and present day management wizards. It’s ‘Management Thought’ (ISBN-81-7625-
623-4). Two of my scholars are already awarded Ph.D. in Business Administration from Utkal
University, Odisha, India. For a short period (my ‘lien’ from the job was not sanctioned reason being
sited ‘due to shortage of staff’) I have also served as Head of the Department of Business
Management & Foreign Languages in Singapore Informatics and Business Management Education Ltd.
(sibme.edu.vn ) at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I was also the coordinator of Integrated Masters in
Business Management (IMBA) course and Masters in Finance (MFC) courses of B.J.B.College, Utkal
University, India. I’m a regular reader of enews of Strategy+Business from Harvard and MIT Sloan
Management Review apart from other journals. I always use current news in the context of the subjects

I teach. I was retired on 31 . March 2011 at the age of 58 which is the retirement age of Govt. of
Odisha. After my retirement I was a visiting professor in various MBA Schools of India. I was called
for discussion for the position of ‘Dean’ in Institute of Management Studies, Dehradun two times but
unfortunately both the time I could’t go due to my preoccupation. I was selected for Professor & Dean
of Dr. P.C.Mahalanabish School of Management, West Bengal. As I’m bit workholic type, I can devote
maximum time for the betterment of the institute and it’s better to spend my retired life at different
places of India or abroad, as I’m quite interested in multicultural experience also for which position is
secondary. Age wise I’m physically as fit as any late thirties.
