ISSUES AND CONCERNS/CHALLENGES English Secondary and Special Program in Journalism (SPJ) Issues/Concerns/Challenges in Implementing the Program Outcomes/Impacts of the Issues/Concerns/Challenges Interventions/Initiatives Conducted Students lack the basic skills in writing a simple piece e.g., basic rules in grammar, spelling etc. Difficulty in finishing an output correctly.  Constant monitoring of the learners’ work and correcting them immediately  Coaching Lack of time to coach and mentor since every learning this year is focused on LRCP/reading and remediation programs Learners have difficulty on how to write a news and compose feature writings Meet with the Journalism members for 30 minutes after class hours twice a week.
