balancing of rotary equipment. Designed shafts bearings tungsten rotors and assembled all components
and completed dynamic testing. Wrote 15 page assembly procedure for T-0 Chopper.
•Designed several options of specialized supports with release mechanism Tooling and vacuum
chamber and completed drawings for detector tube array for ARCS project. Scheduled and facilitated
design review meetings with engineering team and Westinghouse detector vendors.
•Assisted in design and completed drawings for the SNS Shifting Scintillator including fiber optic
mounting clamps and light tight containment in self supporting framed configuration.
•Assisted in designs including Tooling Designs and completed drawings for the SNS Micro Megas
Detector tested in the IPNS beam consisting of specialized detector holding device and easily
accessible detector change out ability.
•Assisted in designs including Tooling Designs and completed drawings for the SNS 100 Microvolt
Spectrometer and complete instrument layout including beam tubes choppers and detectors.
•Assisted in design including Tooling Designs and completed drawings for the SNS Liquids High
Pressure Cell consisting of diamond press and supporting components.

including squeezing presses, process piping and instrumentation.

•Assisted in installation of mechanical equipment for Zeith Rouland Tube expansion including process

quality control inspector of piping supports and redesign thru Sergeant & Lundy engineering company.
•Assisted in mechanical maintenance procedures for LaSalle Nuclear Power Station including post
installation stress relief of main steam system thru clamp method for pipe welds. Inspection of current
mechanical components and repair / replacement of worn critical system components.
•Assisted in installation of mechanical equipment for Collins Station Power House for 2 unit add on
for coal fired boiler type turbine driven electrical supply station.
•Assisted in installation of mechanical equipment for Hinsdale High School Mechanical system
upgrade including dehumidification system, emergency diesel generator system, new steam boilers and
associated piping and controls.
