Verbal communication is the exchange of information via

information that was swapped using spoken words.
Another example is when people shout at a sports game due
to either their team scoring a point or the opposing team
scoring a point, if their team scores then the fan will scream
with more happiness and excitement, but if the opposing
team scores then their screams will be more filled with
hatred and anger.
3. NonVerbal Communication
Non verbal communication is exchanging information with
someone without having to use words, this is done via sign
language or other types of physical body language such as
eye contact which can be used to tell someone your focused
on talking to them and no one else.
Another example would be stuff like thumbs up showing that
a person understands what’s happening e.g. a builder asks a
co-worker to pass him a screw driver, the co-worker nods and
gives him the thumbs up to show him that he understands
and will get him what he asked for.

12. Interacting with others:The Soler theory
The solar theory is something that uses non verbal communication to help with verbal
communication to make a conversation more interesting or keep a listener engaged
Square: if talking to a single person make sure you are talking to them face on and not keeping
your head tilted or at a weird angle, this allows you to make it so the listener knows your
interested in the conversation.
Open: keep posture open and not closed, such as having your arms crossed because this might
result in the person talking to you to interpret you as a bit defensive.
Lean: by leaning towards someone while their talking it shows you truly care about what that
person is saying.
Eye contact: by keeping eye contact you show your attention is completely focused on them,
but when in a group and talking to multiple people you must switch between everyone in the
group.
Relax: if you are too tense then it makes the conversation tense and might ruin the mood so
being relaxed with body and mind is vital to keep a conversation fluent and under control.

or violence

• Twitter is a form of organised stalking, do you disagree?
• most riots start on social media sites, do you disagree?
15. Answering Debate Questions
3.You should have answers prepared which will be used to respond to your
opponent’s questions. Imagine that you are from the other team and determine
what questions may be asked of your team.
16. Conclusion
4.You should have a final conclusive argument/statement drawn
up which will be proposed at the end of your debate.
When you have determined who will be responsible for each
portion of your team's debate, it is up to you to prepare yourself for
