2. Played by Stefania Sopterean
I chose Stefania to play Natasha as I have
previously seen her acting in many other
productions of similar, if not the same genre.
I decided that she could deliver on the right
amount of emotion during the difficult
scenes e.g. The slap and the main
argument.
As far as other factors of my production,
Stefania was a reliable actor and was
available nearly every time I wanted to
shoot. Once all the days were decided and
agreed upon Stefania was well prepared for
each shoot and new exactly what I wanted
her to do.
Stefania has been involved in many
productions over the last few years, in and
around school. She has also studied drama
for almost three years, therefore I knew she
had great experience and ability.
3. Played by Natalia Cotonou
Natalia will be playing Steph, Natasha’s ex
girlfriend. In this production she is seen as
the main victim as she has been cheated on
by Natasha.
I decided to use Natalia as she has also
been in a number of film productions and
has a range of experience from workshops
to pantomimes to film productions. I believe
her strongest genre is in fact drama as she
performs best when faced with a dramatic
role.
Natalia has also studied drama for three
years and is extremely experienced
therefore I knew straight away she was
perfect fro this role.
4. Played by Sophie Laxton
Tia is the youngest out of my
three actresses however, she is
just as amazing at acting as the
others. Sophie is currently still
studying in her first year of sixth
form and although she has a
much less demanding role in the
production I am fully aware of
what she is capable of and I
know that she is great at acting
as well.
