Steps:
Understand two broad categories of Product
Describe branding
Differentiate different elements of branding
List important points to keep in mind while deciding the brand
Come up with a new brand name or rebranding of existing product.
Outcome: Students will be able to take decisions which are
necessary while doing branding for products.
3. Activity-1
Ram is a marketing manager who works for a big business firm
XYZ. They are planning to introduce a new product into the market.
They are confused under which category they should launch their
product. Ram is asked to suggest a product which they should
launch and help them in taking various other decisions related to
that product. If you were in place of Ram what would have been
your suggestions?
1. Think of a product category
2. Suggest the product
3. Suggest Branding, Packaging, Labelling of the product.

Think of a well-known brand.
Do thorough analysis of the brand.
Identifying the strategies that contributed to their outcomes.
Present findings.
