2. Mode of address:
I used an informal mode
of address and
sometimes colloquial
language , language that
it is easily understood
by the target audience.
IDEAL READER:
My star represents the
ideal reader with the
use of make an scene.
Her makeup and
hairstyle connote an old
school, glamouros style.
3. To appeal to the correct TARGET AUDIENCE, my star would have
to represent an idealised version of the reader. In order to
appeal to as many consumers as possible, the star must appear
mainstream and nonthreatening.
The cover star has to arouses the curiosity and sympathy of the
readers. My target audience would ASPIRE to be like her. The
social group that is representing by my magazine is from a social
class B/C, race white as my production’s protagonist is white and
also because my production has no black characters. The age of
people who would buy my magazine would range from 14 to 29
mostly females as the females target audience would:
-enjoy socializing, gossips and parting with friends.

6. COVER STAR: In all the photographs of my star, I tried to make
sure she would be APSIRATIONAL for the readers. She is the
same age and gender as my IDEAL READER, therefore would
attract the TARGET AUDIENCE. The mise en scene of the star
represents a slightly cotroversional figure , a young lady that
wants to keep an old look.
