What is an investment scam ? • Illegal activity of providing false information to someone so that they will invest more in something.
Major Cause of Investment scam 1. It looks like the real thing • It appears to meet your needs or desire. (Make more money)
Major Cause of Investment scam 2. Manipulated by Scammers • They ‘pushing your buttons’ to produce the automatic response they want. • It’s nothing to do with personally, but the way individuals behave in society are emotionally and socially.

How to prevent investment scam ? 1. Research before invest • Understand company’s business and its’ products or services before investing. • Look for the company’s financial statements.
How to prevent investment scam ? 2. Know the salesperson • Spend times checking out the person who promoting the investment before you invest. • (Even if you already know the person personally / Friends also can cheat us.)
