around HR and address non-compliance issues related to being a government contractor. Turn around was
achieved by creating& implementing Department‟s first Strategic Plan.

Centex Construction (Balfour Beatty Construction) – Nashville, TN (1999-2005). Industry leading $400M
negotiated fee healthcare construction division.Division Vice President, Human Resources. Recruited to
conduct full needs analysis with business partners in order to focus start up of division‟s first,“professional” HR
department. Later led to being perceived as the “HR company model” by sector CEO.

Rogers Group, Inc. – Nashville, TN (1994-1999).Largest ($300M)industry-leading,privately-held aggregate
limestone mining company vertically integrated into asphalt construction.Corporate Director, Human Resources.
Recruited to move company‟s HR from tactical and administrative to being a consultative strategic business partner.
