Introduction Children in the early childhood stage are always striving for independence. They are at
the age where they are learning self–control and starting to recognize the needs of others (Ashford &
LeCroy, 2013). How do delays in development impact these desires? For my developmental and
biopsychosocial assessment I interviewed a 5–year–old boy who I will refer to as "John." He was
recently diagnosed with developmental delays, and currently receives speech and physical therapy
services. This paper will explore his assessment using the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ), as
well as how John's age and environment impacts his development.

During the assessment John's mother reported that his speech had improved significantly after
seeing a speech therapist for the past year and a half. She also shared that John was not speaking at
all up until February of 2016, and now he uses one or two word phrases. I saw this during my time
with John, where he was unable to form complete sentences. Instead of saying "I want a drink" he
would point to his cup and whimper. Mom encouraged him to "use his words," which resulted in
him saying, "drink."

Dehydration: (Theory 2) With more information that is given in the DBQ pamphlet and information
online, I have been able to conjure up another theory to this cause of death. My theory consist of
several different questions and answers, and lets not forget research. Now many reasons for
dehydration was the water. The salt content of the water. Salt literally sucks the water out of your
veins and organs. First of all the James river led to the ocean... that is where the salt from the salt
water came from, when it mixed with the fresh water. Therefore, when they drank it, their salt intake

doing this, the canon was discovered. In the discovery of canonicity, Erwin Lutzer describes how
this happened. Lutzer notes that the canon came to be through the "chosen people of God." This

This is shown by document D which shows a trading incident between the Native Americans and the
settlers. Francis West and thirty six men sailed up the Bay to try to trade for corn. Instead, the

Jamestown. Many colonist died between 1607 to 1611 in Early Jamestown. Colonists died in Early

People were dieing almost every day in Jamestown. In 1607 Early Jamestown was founded. All
other colonies had failed in the Americas before this. The people settling here were trying to find a
hidden route to China. Another colony, called the Roanoke colony, went completely missing. There
were also only 40 out of the 110 colonists that survived at first. Colonists in early Jamestown died

The abundance of natives in the woods was in the thousands. At first, when the colonists arrived,
they met the natives and they both were friendly to each other for around 2 years. But when the
settlers nourishment expired, they went to the only people that had food and knew how to grow it in

The Book of Acts is a book about the beginning of the first Christians and the growth of the Church.
Acts explains how Christianity began and also spread about. It explains how Jesus used some of the
apostles to teach through the Holy Spirit after ascending into Heaven. The writer of the Book of
Acts is the apostle Luke, who gives us insight into the different things the disciples, mainly Peter
and Paul, had went through during this time. Luke describes these instances but rarely indicates how

As the apostle passed from the scene, other leaders arose in the church to take their place. These
leaders are fathers because of the esteem in which they were held by loyal church members. They

be classified in certain times or divided into four groups. The first groups would be the apostolic

Introduction In his book The Question of Canon, Michael Kruger disputes the overriding image in a
good deal of modern–day biblical scholarship, which regards the concept of canon as something
completely extraneous from early Christian religion and as merely an ecclesiastical production of
the second through fourth centuries. While answering different tenets of this view; what he defines
as the extrinsic model, Kruger proposes the merits of an mutually exclusive model, which he defines
as the intrinsic model, which comprises "that the idea of Canon is not something imposed from the
outside but develops more organically from within the early Christian religion itself". (21) Kruger
carefully surveys the extrinsic model by locating five of its major tenets and disclosing its major

Powhatan. Aiming to settle in Jamestown, or James Island, the English hoped to make the first
permanent English settlement in the New World. They traveled up the James River and finally
arrived in their destination. Gradually, though, the colonists started to slowly die because of many
different reasons. Why did so many colonists die? Many colonists died because there was bad water
quality, lack of occupations, and diseases. One reason why so many colonists died is because of the
lack of clean water, and there was a drought. As water levels rose, rivers and creeks became
brackish. Brackish water also meant that the water turned brown and was mixed with saltwater and
freshwater. The people would throw their waste into the river, so this is the reason why the rivers

In the time period around 1590, the colonists suffered the longest unbroken period of drought. In
Document B, David W. Stahle made a study on the rainfall amounts in Jamestown by examining the
tree–ring patterns in several old cypress trees growing near Jamestown. The wider rings would
indicate that they was plenty of water, which lead to good growth of the tree. The narrower rings
would mean that there was not as much rain. Since there was little rainfall, the settlers experienced

In the document titled "Jamestown's Environment", it says that the tides caused saltwater to
overflow into their drinking water, turning it into brackish water, deeming it undrinkable. Also, in
the document "Rainfall in Jamestown", you can see that in there was a large drought during the first

Paul's letter to the Romans is special in many ways. It has provided the church with such theological
doctrine. Within its long text, Paul assures equal judgment by God as well as equal chances to
pursue righteousness to God. Paul addresses the debacle of Israel and the implications of that on the
Gentiles. Paul looks to the Roman house–churches and tackles possible issues within their context.

Eusebius emphasizes the importance of academic study for effective pastoral care and defense of the

widespread suspicion among other Christians of the philosophical and esoteric brand of Christianity

The deaths of approximately 440 colonists from Jamestown, England's first permanent colony, got

Jamestown to struggle so much, and begin a voyage back to England. A major reason why many
colonials died was because they didn't bring nearly enough supply's, nor did they try to become

The colonists did not only have the majority of its settlers be lazy and incompetent workers, they did
not have the minimum needed amount of rain fall. The settlers also had hard times gathering water
from lakes. "the adjacent river and creeks became brackish as water levels rose, reliable sources of

made it harder for the colonists to gather the substance. Also, when the colonists used the bathroom
they would throw the matter out of the chamber pot and into the streets. Once it rained the feces and
