2. The world would have never known about the two powerful
yet harmless weapons ‘Truth’ and ‘Non-Violence’ if Mahatma
Gandhi had not taught us. It is impossible to pursue one
without the other. Today, we suffer from anger, fits and other
frailties. There is intolerance around us where the teachings
of Mahatma take us on the path of righteousness. The year
2019, the 150th birth anniversary year of Mahatma Gandhi is
an ideal time to remember his principles of truth and
non-violence and his uncompromising commitment to them.
Mahatma Gandhi and his teachings serve as an inspiring
example for us to emerge stronger and achieve success.

3. Mahatma Gandhi quoted “In a
gentle way you can shake the
world”, the statement holds its true
significance in today’s world laced
with impatience, violence and
intolerance. Each day, we’re
inundated with stories about how
the world is going to hell. War,
poverty, pollution… all manner of
atrocities are flung at us from all directions, and it’s
enough to draw even the most lighthearted person
into a pit of despair. None of us can change the entire
world all by ourselves, but by making small
amendments in our own lives and encouraging
others to do the same, a snowball effect occurs that
can affect the entire planet in time. So, on the 150th
birth anniversary of the Father of our Nation, let us
all pledge to win the world with the Gandhian
principles of non-violence and truth.
