Eminem’s birth name is Marshall Bruce
Mathers lll but he is best known by his stage
name. He was born 17th October, 1972 in the
USA. He has 3 children and 3 siblings. Eminem
is a rapper, songwriter, record producer and
actor.
He was put on the US charts in 1999. Eminem
took up rapping in high school before dropping
out in 9th grade.
Awards
Eminem’s recent award was by the Guinness
World Record in 2014. He’s first award was
given at the Brit Award for International Album
in 2003. Other awards he has won from well
known events are:

Brief Background
Whitney Houston was born in New Jersey on the 9th
August, 1963 and died on the 11th February, 2012 in
California. She was an American singer and actress.
She released her debut album at the age of 22 and scored
3 number one singles. In 1987 she scored 4 more number
one singles and won herself her first Grammy. Her first four
albums released between 1985 and 1992.
Whitney married Bobby Brown, a singer, in 1992. As that
had happen her career fell off track. She made a comeback
in 2009 with another single, I Look To You.
Early Stages
At the age of 15, Whitney was already performing with her
mother (a well known soul/gospel artist) and was trying to
get a record label of her own. She was discovered by a
photographer and became a teenage model. Whitney
Houston is the first African American to appear on the
cover of Seventeen magazine.
Awards
During her career Whitney has been nominated 38 times
and has won 22 times. Whitney Houston won her first
award in 1985 under the category Outstanding New Artist.
Her last award, whiles she was alive, was in 2000 for Best
Female R&B Vocal Performance.
