3. Ingredients:
White lentils : 1 cup Ginger :½ inch piece
Baking soda :1 pinch (chopped)
Yogurt : 2 cup Red chilies powder :2
(whisked) tsp
Garlic : 6-7 pieces Salt to taste
(chopped) Oil for frying : 1 liter

4. Method:
• Wash lentils and soak for 15 min, drain
water and grind.
• Add salt and baking soda, mix well and
leave aside.
• Heat oil in a wok, take spoonfuls of
mixture and fry dumplings till golden.
• Soak the fried dumplings in warm water
for 5 minutes.
• Now lightly press the dumplings
between your palms to squeeze out water
and arrange them neatly in a serving dish.
• Add salt, red chilies, ginger, and garlic in
yogurt, mix well and pour on dumplings.
• Garnish delicious dahi baray with
tamarind chutney and serve.
