The Pedagogical Patterns Collector suite of tools is an output from the TLRP-TEL research project on a learning design support environment (LDSE) for teachers and lecturers, funded by the ESRC-EPSRC. It enables teachers and trainers to share their good teaching ideas. It is intended to help a subject teacher see how a particular pedagogic approach can be migrated successfully across different topics. There are sample patterns to browse and edit, or you can design your own from scratch.

Total session time​: 155 minutes.
TLA 1: Briefing time allotted =25 minutes
● Read/view the text/presentation illustrating the goals and sequencing of the
activities. (Read Watch Listen ­ 5 minutes)
● Form study groups and prepare wiki as described in the instructions. (Collaborate ­
10 minutes)
● Post a comment to the discussion forum with a link to your wiki. Mention any issues
you have encountered (if any) and how you resolved them. Review other posts and
provide feedback where you an issue is mentionend you know how to resolve.

TLA 2: Exploring to compare multiple interpretations time allotted =100
minutes
● Together write a concept describing the topic, your approach, a draft structure,
main resources and a draft plan including responsibilities. (Collaborate ­ 100
minutes)
TLA 3: Collaborating to reflect on the comparisons time allotted =30
minutes
● Select the contributions of another group in your class. Appraise their concept draft
on the corresponding wiki discussion pages. (Practice ­ 20 minutes)
● Discuss with the whole group the experience of providing and receiving
peer­feedback. (Discuss ­ 10 minutes)
