2. OUR CLIENT:
Our client is market leader, virgin fast-track company within the insurance sector. They have 2 offices
in Manchester and London (Manchester being HQ.) The company was set up by 2 ex Sthree
employees who wanted to set up their own company and are both highly ambitious and driven
managers. They bring to the business a wealth of expertise and they have been very successful in
building the companies brand.
They have an overall team of circa 46 and are looking to heavily expand on this during the next 12
months.
Every consultant has been billing a minimum of £150k and the top biller billed over £500k last year!
Top billers: (across the team here are the yearend billings for 8 of the consultants however the
whole team is along the same vein.)

3. STRATEGY & VISION
Their vision is to become the market leading Contingency, Interim and Search & Selection firm within
the insurance sector on a global basis. Their strategy has been to focus on disciplines that are in high
demand within the insurance sector, but in short supply. They use a proactive search methodology
within a predominantly contingency model to add value
to their clients in volume, while having the proven
capability of undertaking high end or sensitive
searches on a more formal basis.

They supply both permanent and contract staff across all of these disciplines.
Offices:
Consultants are based out of three offices in London, Manchester and Dublin.
Geography:
From these locations their geographic reach for their core areas of expertise lies mainly across the
UK, Ireland and Continental Europe although they also have strong networks in Bermuda, Singapore,
Hong Kong, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, although this is
more as a candidate pool rather than client base at this point.
4. CULTURE
• They are a dynamic organisation that has recruited confident, down-to-earth individuals who
are results-driven, ambitious and motivated to become experts in their chosen disciplines and
markets
• They operate a meritocracy and reward on performance rather than the length of time
someone has worked for them. They always look to promote from within their own business
and heavily encourage staff to use their initiative and suggest new ideas.
• Rewards are individual commission-based rather than pooled or as an annual bonus.
• They have a quarterly Lunch Club for the top performers and also a quarterly target once a
year that, once achieved, results in the entire business being taken away on a long 5*
weekend away. Previous trips have included Puerto Banus, the Algarve, Palma, Barcelona and
Dublin.
• They also have occasional away days to the likes of the Cheltenham Gold Cup and/or Ascot.
Each consultants also gets two Christmas parties – one for the office in which they are based
and one for the entire business.
