2. What is it about?
• This programme is about a group of individual people that struggle to find
love for various reasons. It looks into what it is like for them and the
processes they take when searching to find someone for themselves. It
shows to the audience the process, the date itself and the aftermath of the
date. Most manage to be able to find someone, but some date, it shows to
the audience what its like and the audience becomes immediately hooked
straight from the start.

3. The Audience
• The prime audience for this type of programme is the younger audience,
this is because of the entertainment factor involved and the type of comedy
also involved. On top of this it also links to the younger audience through
the fact that most young people still haven’t found someone and gives
something for the younger audience to relate to.

• The main key features throughout this documentary is that it is both
expository and observational.This is because there is certain parts
throughout it where there is a narrator for it and because this isn’t a typical
documentary it makes it an observational documentary as well.

• Another key feature of the documentary is that it goes through the
individual lives of the people involved in the show and their process which is
shown throughout the show. Each show they concentrate on a few people
from the show and let the audience have an insight and a chance to connect
with them.
6. Opening
• For the opening of the programme we are made aware of events through a
montage at the beginning of the characters and what is coming up in the
episode. Just this opening montage allows us to see whether we are going
to be interested in the event or not.
