merely to suggest that eating cadbury’s
chocolate helps you have a good time
It is a memorable advert which means people
will be able to associate the advert with the

We feel that the advert is in
the “Self-Actualisation’’ as it is
not a necessity in everyday
life.
It is a luxury item as it is not
something you need to
survive.

of its spontaneous sketch and its humorous

There are many persuasive techniques that are
used during the advert which are;

● The Tickets/Diamonds
● The Confidence of the product

Maslow’s Hierarchy
The advert fits into the top two brackets of
Maslow’s Hierarchy because it is very
spontaneous how the theme of the advert
keeps changing making it creative and
spontaneous and how confident the advert is

The Target Audience
The target audience is MEN. It is a men's
deodorant and the advert constantly refers to
saying ‘your man’ also targeting women who
are in relationships which branches out to a lot
more people offering the product the chance to
be more attractive to both sexes of women and
men. Age between 25-60, after 60 we all know!

Due to the fact it is a deodorant in some ways it
basically applies to all men who use deodorant
which is hopefully every man… ;) The advert
displays lots of images of expensive things;
boats, diamonds horses all things that would
cost a lot of money… therefore could be aimed
at higher socioeconomic groups, anyone from
working class upwards.
Overall Review
Due to the pace of the advert and the direct
address it automatically grabs the audience's
attention which is beneficial to the product. It is
funny and very persuasive and therefore keeps
people thinking about the advert and therefore
the product which can lead people to buying it.
