1. Mrs. Fanning’s First Grade Class I look forward to having your child in my classroom this school year! I have a lot of exciting things planned this year including project based learning. Project based learning is a great hands on way for students to learn the importance of completing certain tasks and projects. It will also allow the students to work in groups and get to know their classmates. As a parent, it is important for you to help your student outside of the classroom as well. I will do my best to help them while in the classroom but in order for your child to get the most out of this school year I will need your support. I will continue to keep in touch with you throughout the school year and see what we can do to make this year a success! As a teacher, I am going to do my best to expand your child’s horizon and get them prepared for their future classes so they can be the best they can be! As a student, I believe it is important for them to use their creativity to learn. I do not like to have them sitting in a desk all day so they will be up and moving. I want for them to be able to experience things hands on!
