1. Service Provider Systems Engineer<br /> <br />This position will be located in the Netherlands (Schiphol Rijk Amsterdam) and will report to the Systems Engineering Manager Benelux. The role is focused on providing pre-sales technical support to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Service provider accounts in the Benelux region.<br />Systems Engineers are a critical component of the Juniper sales team and have a primary responsibility to assist the Account Management teams with the technical sales activities. Next to having a thorough understanding of Service provider networking and systems architectures, Systems Engineers have in-depth, hands-on experience with Juniper's products and services as well as competitor's products and services, and can demonstrate solid internetworking, switching and security skills to customers and business partners.<br /> <br /> <br />Duties and Responsibilities<br /> Provide both strategic and day to day technical expertise and support for assigned accounts and partners. Develop strong technical relationships at the highest levels within the accounts and partners.<br /> Manage the timely, accurate and quality delivery of Juniper Networks products and technical support to these strategic accounts as required to meet sales goals.<br /> Work with Account Managers to identify, qualify, and develop opportunities within the account and to win new customers.<br /> Develop technical expertise within the accounts and partners by delivering leading edge technical presentations and training on Juniper Networks products.<br /> Provide timely feedback to Juniper Networks product managers to help drive customer-focused solutions.<br /> Drive Juniper Network’s technical leadership and innovative networking solutions in strategic opportunities to meet sales and business objectives.<br /> Act as the primary technical support for Beta sites. Contribute to the development of account plans with the sales team and leverage the account plans to further achieve business and revenue objectives.<br /> Act as the single face to the customer on all Juniper Networks technical issues. Focus on customer driven solutions. <br />Skills and Experience<br />The position requires strong communication and presentation skills, business development acumen, a well-developed technical aptitude, the ability to work successfully as part of a team and alone. Must be able to communicate effectively with the sales team, partners and end user customers at all levels. He/she must demonstrate exceptional initiative and creativity in the development of technical solutions for complex situations. He/she must possess the ability to clearly and concisely present complex ideas and solution concepts to the customer's technical staff.<br />Must be able to facilitate and/or setup proof of concept installations at the customer site or in the Amsterdam Proof of Concept labs.<br />Native-level Dutch language skills and proficient English language skills are required. <br />Qualifications and Education: <br />5-8 years experience as a Network Consultant or System Engineer experience in a field sales organization. A good understanding of the Service provider market place in the BeNeLux. Strong experience in TCP/IP based networks in general. Expert level knowledge on routing protocols such as BGP, MPLS, ISIS, Multicasting as well a deep understanding of design of Service provider networking architectures. <br />Furthermore Security knowledge in FW/VPN/SSLVPN is desirable.<br />A BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Computer Science (BSCS) or equivalent course work in data communications or comparable/equivalent experience in a technical training discipline.<br /> <br />Employee Referral Policy:<br />There has been some changes to the policy, details below.<br /> All grade levels are now eligible to participate in the program.
