ABSTRACT
Electric auxiliaries are components that interact with the main systems and
components of the car to fully support its functionality. Basically, they are related to
safety, comfort or drive train applications in vehicle systems. Advanced vehicles electric
power steering systems owing several advantages are replacing the classical hydraulic
ones. The main part of such systems is the electrical machine developing the required
steering torque.
