Narrative Report
Summer Class
Date :
Two Grade 11 students with Statistics and Probability failed subjectwere given remediation. During
the start of the summer class, the involved students were given modules and learning activities to be
answered during the session. Regular classes were conducted every Monday at 8:00 am- 12:00 am, 1:00-
5:00 pm for two months. Due to community restrictions broughtby pandemic, the teacher home visited the
students and conduct classes in their respective homes ( IATF standard protocols were observed).
As observed, students find difficulty understanding the standard normal distribution and getting the
Pearson’s r correlation. To maximize the level ofproficiency of the learners, the teacher presents selected
video retired from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVOzlHx_15s. Atthe end ofthe session,the gaps were
addressed thru 10-item assessment test.
As part offinal requirements, involved students were given final testas determinants on the mastery
level in the subjectretaken. Only 1 student took the final test and passed the summer classes which scored
37/50 .
