side of Oakton by December, 2012, and recommend expanding

side of Oakton for drop offs by December 2012; four parking spaces will
be need to be removed to accommodate the change.

completed.
• Ridge/Colfax: The highest pedestrian activity (eight adults) was
observed between 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Staff have concerns establishing
crossings at low pedestrian crossing locations on major arterial streets
where there are traffic signals within a block or two. Establishing a
crossing would also require the elimination of four parking spaces in a
high demand area to ensure proper visibility of the signs.
