- 3. PHYSICAL OR BIOGICAL WEIGHT:- 10 + or – 1.5 Kg (22 + or – 3 pounds) Has tripled birth weight. LENGTH :- 74.5 + or – 3 cm (29 + or – 1.5 inches) length has increased by almost 50 percent from birth. HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE :- 46 cm head circumference has increased by on third since birth.

PHYSICAL OR BIOGICAL • Brain weight has increased rapidly since birth, resulting in significant developmental achievements • Head and chest are equal in circumference. • Anterior fontanel closes between 12 and 18 months. • Pulse :- 115 + or – 20 • Respiration :- 30 + or – 10 • Blood pressure :- 96/66 + or – 30/24
- 5. PHYSICAL OR BIOGICAL Reflexes :- Babinski reflex disappear Landau reflex disappear between 12 to 24 months. Teathing :- Has 6 to 8 deciduous teeth Lumbar curve and the compensating dorsal curve develop as walking continues. Physiologic stability achieved and maintained during first year.
