The document discusses the struggles facing the middle class since the economic downturn, including decreasing home values, denial of loans, layoffs and unemployment. It notes that secure assets like homes can no longer be sold for the price or equity people expected. However, it encourages people that they are not alone, and to have faith and stand strong together during difficult times. The light of getting on track and not giving up will guide through challenges that, while not easy, are also not impossible to overcome.

The Real Deal
1. “The Real Deal”
It is time to speak the Real Deal, sponsored by “Get On Track Inc”
written by Ms. Autumn M. Urling.
As time goes on and time ticks away, so does our spirit and soul.
Since, the fall of the economy our world has been like an hour glass
that can not be turned over. It is like the analogy we only see the glass
½ empty and not ½ full. We are in the middle, as things go around us.
We know what is going on, but choose not to speak on it. Instead we
are always looking for the 411.
Every day our houses decrease in value. Every day people walk away
from their best financial investment, their home. Every day more and
more houses are put on the market and everyday the consumers are
denied loans. 700, 800 and 600 fica scores today does not matter.
Banks are adding more restraints on the ability to lend. These restraints
can last as long as 5 to 7 years. We are not just talking about your home
town, but the self-preservation of desperate corporate America which
leads to layoffs and unemployment.
We work hard for freedom, take care of our families to leave an inheritance,
pay off our debts, look forward to retirement and social security to find out
today, it was a waste. Who is looking out for the middle class who aspire to
be upper class and prevent them slipping into the lower class?
Our most secure tangible asset is our home no matter what price you
purchased it for and no matter what value it is today. The home is Ours!
Ours! Ours! However, today we can not sell our home for the time of
years invested in the home for the increased equity we thought we would have.
We can not refinance due to the decrease of market value everywhere. We have
not heard the best of the last get this the banks value is even lower than the
appraised value.
Okay! without reading this and getting low and depressed, remember you
are NOT alone. We WILL get through this with fortitude, love of the people,
compassion for our neighbor and not giving up. We must stand strong
So where do we go from here? Please do not get me wrong it is not easy nor
Impossible, but there is a light that will radiate and guide you as you
