12. Reporting any non-conformities, accidents, incidents and hazardous occurrences to
the management.
13. Ensuring all the documentations designated to be controlled is maintained and
issued as per the Company standing orders and procedures.
14. Requesting any assistance from the Company as may be deemed necessary to
ensure the safe and pollution free operation of the vessel.
15. Ensuring that all records relevant to the Safety Management System, and as defined
in company manuals for operational procedures, are maintained and available
continuously.
16. Implementing, monitoring and enhancing the Safety Health Environmental and
Quality system relating to the vessel in co-operation with the Company’s SMS.
17. Informing the relieving Master during change over about the operation of the vessel
to the extent necessary to maintain safe, efficient and pollution free operation of the

the Management with budgeting.
19. Carry out or delegate the duties of the Ship Security officer under the ISPS code as
described in the Ship Security Plan.
