• Targeted Audience: Grade 1 Associate
teachers

Smart Board, computer, smart notebook
software pre-installed
• Timeframe: February 2012
D – Develop
• TimeFrame: Develop materials during January for
workshop delivery in February
• Materials List: What is a Smart Notebook? How
to use Smart Notebook for maximum
interaction?
• Teachers will know how to access smart
notebook software and sign up
• Presentation –Using Smart Notebook on
techniques and tricks. Create a collaborative
google doc to share after activity with teachers.
I – IMPLEMENTATION
• Recruitment Plan: Ask the Grade 1 teachers in my
placement if they would be interested in learning
how to use Smart Boards in their curriculums. If
not, I will ask at the weekly faculty meeting for
interested people.
• Scheduling: I will use Doodle scheduling to find a
convenient time for participants.
• Evaluation: I will construct a Google Forms
evaluation for my participants to complete after
the workshop and the 3 to 1 coaching session.
E – EVALUATION
• What I learned about teaching others how to use
technology (to be completed after implementation):
• Possible ideas to discuss in your reflection:Use of
‘teacher talk’ to highlight technology
• Use of tutorials and learning objects
• Use of curriculum documents to start thinking about
