director at Syngenta.

November 2018, the company joined the Alliance of CEO Climate
Leaders to advocate stronger action by government leaders to tackle
climate change.
Operating under the World Economic Forum, the Alliance of CEO
Climate Leaders is a network of CEOs from various industries working
together to move the world toward a low-carbon emission climate-
resilient future. Among the priority areas of this group is a
transformational change in agriculture.

3. Syngenta
Syngenta is spearheading this transformation in a number of ways:
- It's facilitating the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices by
farmers so as to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- It is challenging itself by setting targets to reduce its own carbon
footprint
- It participates in the Race to Zero, through which it is improving the
fertility and health of over two million hectares of farmland
