1. Lighting Plan
High key lighting is more often used for Action genre
films. High-key lighting involves the fill lighting to be
increased. With this even illumination, the scene appears
very bright and soft, with very few shadows in the frame.
In my film “The Final Fight” I have used high-key
lighting to give a clear perception to my audience of the
mis-en-scene, for example: the wooden plank the
character wakes up from, the competition brochure he
reads, etc. I had to use high-key lighting moreover so that
I could show the morning after my character had dreamt
about the fight.
