2. Achievement of Experience in generation of body fitted coordinate grid and two phase flow
Research simulation past the inline and staggered tube bank.
Extraction of CAD surfaces from the solid model of Bowl Mill and geometry block
decomposition. Generation of hexahedral multi-block grid, setting up of two-phase
flow simulation with rotational effects for some part of computational domain.
Recommendations for improvement of component at site.
Analysis of customer problem of recycle cyclone collector through different
baffle plates arrangements through two-phase flow simulations and provided the
recommendations to correct ash deposition problem on super-heater tube banks.
Flow simulation in complicated air inlet duct whose exit is through multiple
circular nozzles to trouble shoot ash backshifting in the application of Circulating
fluidized bed boiler.
Complicated grid generation for draft tube attached to 45 mt head Francis
Turbine. Analysis of water flow for different swirl angles. Estimation of pressure
drop and recovery factor values close to design documents.
Compressible flow analysis for 3.2 sq m steam turbine exhaust hood through CFX-
TASCflow.
