This study aimed to detect adverse drug reactions (ADRs) induced by cardiovascular drugs using trigger tools in outpatient departments in Nasik City, India. A total of 180 patient prescriptions were analyzed to identify triggers, which are clues that signal potential ADRs. 21 triggers were found in 11.66% of prescriptions. 14 ADRs were detected using the triggers, for a success rate of 71%. However, 6 triggers did not detect any ADRs, for a failure rate of 29%. The most common ADRs detected were hypotension, hypertension, vertigo and cough. This study demonstrates that trigger tools can effectively detect ADRs, but requires further improvement to reduce the failure rate.

This document outlines the cooling strategy and airflow design for an electronic enclosure. It includes diagrams of the enclosure layout and component placement. Test results are presented showing predicted and measured airflow rates and temperatures under different fan speeds and ambient temperature conditions. The design is able to effectively cool components by partitioning the enclosure and implementing a distribution plenum and dual fan setup, with measured temperatures mostly within 10% of predictions.
Thermal Design And Performance Of Two Phase Meso Scale Heat Exchangermartyp01
Dramatically increased power dissipation in electronic and electro-optic devices has prompted the development of advanced thermal management approaches to replace
conventional air cooling using extended surfaces. One such approach is Pumped Liquid Refrigerant Cooling (PLRC), in
which a refrigerant is evaporated in a cold plate in contact with the devices to be cooled. Heat is then rejected in an air or
water-cooled condenser and the working fluid is returned to the cold plate.
The document presents the findings of a study on pumped refrigerant cooling technology. It evaluates several candidate cooling technologies and determines that a single phase pumped liquid system using R-134a refrigerant provides the best balance of performance, reliability, cost and other factors. The report describes the design of such a system, including analysis of refrigerant flow rates, pump performance, pressure drops and other parameters. Test results are provided demonstrating the thermal performance and operation of prototype cold plates and the full cooling system.
SBIR, Low Cost High Performance State-of-the Art Phased Array Radar Coolingmartyp01
This document is the final report for Phase 1 of an SBIR project to demonstrate that a pumped liquid multi-phase cooling (PLMC) system using R-134a as the coolant is a superior alternative to a conventional ethylene glycol/water cooling system for cooling electronics. The report includes test results showing the PLMC system can cool a 54.4 kW load with an 84% lower coolant flow rate and 98% lower pump power requirements compared to the conventional system. It also finds the PLMC system has a smaller size, lower weight, and potential reliability advantages. Enclosures provide details on the system designs, test methods, and performance data for key components.

Barbara Hazard, Regional Sales Manager, Flomerics (business partner) was with another

“Martin Pitasi has a vast experience base designing electronics cooling solutions for a wide
variety of applications.” December 29, 2008
Joe Wrinn, VP, Teradyne (colleague) managed you
“I have know Martin Pitasi for over 25 years. In that time, Marty has worked on the most complex
thermal problems I had. Our most recent project together involved working on a large, 125 KW
system that required precise, distributed thermal control. This system was also going to be
deployed in large numbers at our customer's facility. Marty was invaluable in getting our system
done to spec and on time. He has great knowledge in the thermal area as well as excellent
connections in the local fabrication infrastructure. In addition, Marty worked with our customer on
sizing their factory cooling infrastructure for accepting the large number of high power systems
they ordered. It is rare you find someone with the experience in thermal design and the work ethic
that Marty has. If we face similar problems in the future, I will be back on the phone to Marty.”

Subject: REFERENCE MATERIAL FOR MARTIN PITASI
We have dealt with Martin Pitasi professionally for more than fifteen years in a number of different
roles or capacities. He has proven himself to be not only very competent and innovative as a
mechanical engineer but an exceptional „good hands‟ person. This is a less and less common
trait for members of the engineering profession. In the final analysis our designs have to work well
and reliably for exceptionally long periods of time. As beautiful as computerized simulations can
be they are not working products. „Hands-on‟ analytical skills are the final check and Mr. Pitasi‟s
skills in this area are, in my experience, without peer. His in-depth skills and vast experience
allow him to get to the heart of a problem quickly and offer a solution that is very practical and in
almost every case the most cost effective.
Mr. Pitasi‟s professional skills in the mechanical engineering field are very broad clearly
demonstrating broad knowledge beyond the fixed boundaries of a mechanical engineer. He has
maintained his professional inquisitiveness into most of the related topics that would be
peripherally interesting to a practicing mechanical engineer such as materials and the
metallurgical problems that fringe on our projects.
Mr. Pitasi is a very challenging, interesting and accomplished-engineering associate.
